DELTA scores what a player has already done, not what anyone expects him to do. No projections, no hype, no consensus — production, age, opportunity and contract.
There are three numbers and they answer different questions. Δ is the player, 0 to 99, ignoring price entirely. Mkt Val is what he currently costs in trades. Mod val is what DELTA thinks he is worth. The gap between the last two is the verdict.
Buy and sell mean DELTA and the market disagree. Strong is reserved for a gap of 25% or more, and is withheld until a player has had 20 games’ worth of chances to show what he is — a rookie has not earned a strong call either way yet.
Price Against Disagreement is the chart at the top. Each dot is a player: how much he costs across the bottom, how far DELTA sits from that price up the side. Green means DELTA says he is cheap, red means expensive, grey means the market has him about right.

Model value is market price adjusted for age, opportunity, efficiency, quarterback quality and offence, then corrected for the model’s known pessimism — a correction that shrinks as a player gets more expensive. Picks use raw market value.

The universe is players clearing a production quota, plus four- and five-star underclassmen. Age is estimated from recruiting class and is absent for players who were not recruited. RecSh is receptions divided by team receptions, standing in for target share because CFBD publishes no target counts. QB rushing is net of sacks, per college convention.
